Why do they call it the Emerald Isle?

She Was Being Miley . . .

I for one hope that next time we hang out, she will redeem herself and have better sound equipment, songs to play, and comments to make; my heart won't rest till then because as of right now I CAN wait to see you again!

This is the reason I went:
(yeah, we were at the top) and this:
and this of course (it's the love):
thanks for getting us the tix shanny, we love ebay:
Holla for the red Independence Day Hawk!
Nice microscopic jumbo tron BYU.
Well, Zoey loved it at least, she made us scream "we love you Miley" like 25 times. I'm sure she heard us too. BYU needs to step it up, did I mention the sound totally sucked? It was poorly run, the music for the fire works was so lame until Celine sang "God Bless America" which is a little weird since she's Canadian and all. We had fun but they won't be getting my money again for the SOF until they hire someone new to run this show.

Luckily I was in a good mood thanks to our delicious lunch we have a mutual dell every year that our G and G West put on. It was so nice and cool up there in AF canyon, here are some photos.

(Oh my goodness look at my beautiful chubs, I love him.)
The kids seemed to have fun with our firecracker art project.

And they did pop itz of course.
Carmoo . . .
Mikey . . .
and the young lovers (Jeanette's bro James and fiance the wedding's coming up)

Love the "Hawk!" The pic of you and your kids is sooo cute too! No wonder the neighborhood was so quiet...everyone was at SOF. Missed you at my party...may be next time! Jesse? Unreal!

That stinks that the statium of fire wasn't very great! Your kids look so cute (as always) and I love the red festive mohawk!!

My favorite part was running into you and Shannon afterward!

Love all the fun pictures of Summer! I am getting so excited for Utah just looking at all of your pics. I would love to get together when we are in town. We'll have to plan something.

Also, Mike and I were addicted to watching Sex and the City after kids went to bed on TBS for a long time. We've seen them all about 3 times. I love the show! Now you need to finish your tag so I can read all about your favorites.

hands down the best part of the sof was the star-spangled banner w/the fly over and fireworks timed perfectly!!! it was enough to bring tears to this american's eyes! good recap of the day, hill, i don't really have anything to add...

We had a rough time with the Stadium of Fire too. It was by far our least favorite one but of course my girls loved it. I always love all of the patriotic stuff. The art projects looked like fun.

Bummer about SOF, sounds like everybody that went had a bad experience. Love the red hawk, Nick might get a copy cat one next 4th, maybe pioneer day...

I think everyone who went to SOF said it sucked! And after all that time on ebay - what a waste! Next year stay home with us. We could've used you guys around. I'm pretty sure Lance was bored at our house that night.

Great shannon, so during the best part of the show I was hiking in from Will's Pit Stop where we parked! Oh well, I was close enough to hear the song and I saw the Jets when they were in PG or so and I kind of felt like I had my own private fly by :).

Chubs is a beautiful baby...but I wouldn't have expected anything less, Zoey and Zane are pretty darn cute as well!

Boo to the SOF, and to Miss Miley Cyrus...what was with that "awkward" exit from the stage!

Oh well...you should be in charge next year! Maybe you could get Madonna to come...now that would be some fire works worth seeing...I don't really know what I meant by that last bit.

I usually always love the Stadium of Fire, but this year Darin just had to keep reminding me "She's only 15"! I guess I was being a little critical... Always love the jets, patriotism and the fireworks. The things we do for our kids to have fun. Your pics turned out so cute and I always love to see Chubs.
