Why do they call it the Emerald Isle?

Here's what we did today:

Chubs went in to the hospital for his yearly testing on his kidneys. It was a critical time for him, if he was not getting better we would have most likely had to start thinking about surgery. After fasting and prayer and a special blessing, the preliminary results are that his kidneys are healed. We are so grateful for this miracle and our little Chubs won't have to suffer this anymore.

Look who was there to help us! It's Miss Callie, Zane's Kindergarten teacher. She works at the hospital as a pediatric specialist now and it was great to see her.

Here he is sedated, ready for the radiation.

Oops, they forgot the catheter, he wasn't happy about being bothered for that.

It's finally over.

Time to wake up Chubs . . .

We finally got those eyes to open, barely.

I'm so sad he(and you guys) had to go through that!!! It's so hard to watch your children go through stuff like that. It brang(sp?) back a lot of memories of Avery's NICU stay. Seeing her laying there(all bruised up) and feeling so helpless. Anyway I'm glad the results were good he is SO adorable!!!!!

What great news! I wish you would of filled us in a little better!! The Miller family would have been praying and my prayers are extra good! So glad that the results looked good. I can feel Lances worry through the pictures. I know how much he loves his little boy. And of course no one can worry about a child like their mother! What a cute and special little guy! And thanks for the picture of Miss Callie! Max's face lit up when I told him last night.

It looks like Lance got a little sedation too. Keep any after meds away from him. Even if it is in a childs dose!

I'm glad to hear that everything is okay with Chubs! There's nothing worse than waiting at the hospital all day for results - especially when it's your baby! He's such a fun little boy. You guys are very blessed to have him.
